Dan Paszkowski

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dan has been with Wine Growers of Canada (WGC) since January 2006. Well-known and respected in federal circles, Dan has extensive experience in senior roles in government relations, policy and politics for 30 years. Throughout his career, Dan has led major advocacy campaigns and built alliances on key policy issues.

Rob Taylor

Director, Policy and Government Relations

Rob joined the WGC team in 2021 bringing 25 plus years of advocacy and strategic communications expertise informed through senior roles within both the federal government and national business associations, including TIAC and CFIB. Rob’s extensive policy background includes Cabinet-level engagement on international trade, tourism development, environmental sustainability, Treasury Board, and social justice issues.

Caroline Henderson

Manager, Communications and Policy

Caroline joined WGC in May 2016 and is focused on communications, regulatory affairs and membership liaison. She comes from a background in advocacy and international trade, supporting her work with WGC in policy engagement, international trade, regulatory and marketing/ media initiatives.

Elisa Ruiz

Office Manager and Executive Assistant

Elisa has been with WGC since December 2005, managing all aspects of the office. She is the main point of contact between the organization, its members and external stakeholders. Prior to joining the WGC, Elisa provided research and logistical support to several non-profit organizations in the National Capital, and has several years of experience working for federal Members of Parliament.

Lorraine Yorke

Financial Manager

Lorraine has been with WGC since October 2008, managing all accounting and financial issues, including budget management, contracts, salaries and benefits, insurance and audit services. Prior to joining WGC, Lorraine has many years of accounting and financial support to numerous private sector businesses and organizations.
